IT security threat against Apple devices: Remember to update your iPhone and iPad immediately

If you use an iPhone or other Apple products for work, update your Apple devices to the latest version of iOS immediately to avoid a serious security breach. DKCERT and the Centre for Cyber Security have just warned all Danish universities about this new IT security threat.

Education: AU has just adopted a new, more value-based quality assurance policy

Aarhus University's new quality assurance policy for teaching and learning at AU is simpler and less detailed than the previous one. And it focuses more on the students and their learning outcomes.

Purchases made with AU credit cards must be approved in the Eurocard app from 22 February

Do you use your AU credit card for online purchases? Then you need to download the Eurocard app. All cardholders who haven’t yet downloaded the app recently received a mail about this from Eurocard. The mail from Eurocard is not a phishing mail.

Take part in the Festival of Research about TIME

On Thursday 28 April, Aarhus University will open its doors for the Festival of Research, which will take place in and around Stakladen. This year’s theme is TIME, and, as a researcher, you can present your work by holding a speed lecture or a stand activity. The Festival of Research at AU typically attracts around 1,000 people and is an excellent opportunity to promote your research.
